Framed Tiles
The tiles are available mounted in a range of sizes from a simple, single tile to groups of up to twenty or more.
The frames are made using American poplar, the warm tones of its shadowy grain echoing and softening the otherwise untreated wood. The individual plants featured are identified on the reverse of each frame and a wall hanging fixture attached. These pieces can be hung in direct sunlight and will tolerate humid environments, so are ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, garden rooms or conservatories.
The groupings of the tiles vary with the seasons and with the glazes employed, the style of the finished pieces can ultimately range from the photographic to the abstract.
Prices and Availability
These pieces are generally priced individually, broadly they start at £15.00 for single framed tiles, as illustrated and around £35.00 for a set of six, as illustrated. Impressions of less common, or sparsely flowering plants are priced accordingly.
